A fascinating fixture where each every match was won alternately by the home then the away side. Matt Davies scored a superb maximum beating Richard in four and then in the final singles Ian in five to guarantee the home side a draw. Matt I had a five-set win over Mike 16-14 10-12 11-8 6-11 11-5. All the other singles went to three. The doubles between Matt D & John v Richard & Ian was nip and tuck with the away side winning in four 14-12 12-10 9-11 11-6. Great evening of TT.

As anticipated with the calibre of the opposition, this was a evening of high class table tennis. As happened in the first half of the season Pierre who was masterful against Darren and equally dominant against James came unstuck against Neil C in 4 very close games 8-11, 1-9,12-10, 11-9 ; What was unfathomable was how Neil O earlier in the evening ended up 2-1 up in games before losing the 4th and 5th games easily. As is the usual Atomics had only 2 players again and were surprised to be gifted a second point when the dual left-handed combination of Darren and James were dispatched in 3 games by Neil O and Pierre whose familiarity with each others game play proved crucial.
