Week 13

Drayton A have maintained their lead at the top of Division 1 of the Didcot and District Table Tennis Association. Another 8-2 win, this time over Moreton A, was secured thanks to trebles from Karl Bushell and Craig Campbell. However, Didcot B remain in the hunt for the title as a 9-1 win over Abingdon B saw maximums from both Eddie Herrity and Rob Hudson. Didcot A have also kept up with the leaders having secured an 8-2 win off their own over Abingdon A with Greg Donovan hitting three wins.

RAL C and Didcot D remain in the top two spots in Division 2 but now have Drayton D closing in. An impresive10-0 win over Howbery B saw the Drayton side move up into third place. Moreton B secured their first win of the season with a 6-4 win over Drayton C thanks to a very solid maximum from Nick Redding. Meanwhile, Abingdon C also had a positive week as three wins apiece from Mike Aistrop and Robert Cowan helped them to an 8-2 win over Upton A.

Abingdon E continue to lead the way in Division 3 having opened up a six point lead on their nearest challengers and Wallingford have kept their firm grip on the summit of Division 4. An 8-2 win over Drayton F contained yet another maximum for David Quinn and kept them ahead of second placed Letcombe C who put paid to club mates Letcombe D with a Tony Prior inspired 8-2 win.

Abingdon G kept their slim promotion hopes alive with a 7-3 victory over RAL F with Aubrey Hughes going unbeaten on the night. Sutton D also returned to winning ways as Lucian Danaila hit three wins in a 6-4 win over Abingdon H.

Upton B have held on to the lead at the top of Division 5 with only Abingdon I registering a win this week as they came away from Drayton G with a 6-4 win thanks to three wins from Adam Dudley-Smith.
