Week 7
In what seems to be a recurring refrain in division 1 Richard Taylor�s fine form continues and he took a maximum against Marlborough A but again was unable to save the loss as they went down 7-3. Karl Bushells�s maximum helped RAL A to a 7-3 win over a faltering Marlborough B side. The two newly promoted teams Upton and Marlborough G also suffered big defeats again this week showing up once again the jump in class between division 1 and division 2. Charlie Lane continues his fine form and his maximum helped Moreton A to a 6-4 win over a two man RAL B side who fought hard. RAL A seem to be consolidating their lead at the top of division 1.
In division 2 Claudiu Silaghi�s maximum for Sutton B, along with the doubles win could not stop second placed Drayton C winning 6-4 to consolidate their postion. Moreton B continue their fine form and lead the division after a close fought 6-4 win over Sutton A. Abingdon A also moved up the division with a 10-0 win over Drayton B. Even without form player Kevin Liquorish RAL C were too good for Wallingford A winning 7-3.
In division 3 Arthur Anstis�s maximum helped Hanney A to a 7-3 win over a 2 man Letcombe B side to consolidate their lead at the top of the division. In the chasing pack Franics Soltanes maximum helped Drayton D to a 6-4 win over a shorthanded RAL D side and Marcin Jedrzejowski�s maximum helped Wallingford B to a comfortable win over the bottom side Abingdon C.
In division 4 Roger Templeman�s fine maximum helped Moreton D to a draw against Drayton E. Drayton G continues their dominance of the division with a demolition of Marlborough F, only losing the doubles to stop a clean sweep.
In division 5 Tina Hamilton�s maximum allowed Grove B to beat Hanney B and in the all Sandford match the B team gained the bragging rights over the A side thanks to maximums from Joe Rolls and Mick Morbey.
