Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Didcot & District Table Tennis Association (DDTTA). The association is affiliated to Table Tennis England (TTE) and the Oxfordshire Table Tennis Association (OTTA).

The association was established in 1949 to promote the playing of Table Tennis in the Didcot area. The objects of the association are to encourage and raise the standards of Table Tennis in Didcot and District. It achieves this by organising an annual league competition containing affiliated teams from towns and villages across South Oxfordshire, from Wantage through Abingdon and Didcot to Wallingford. The DDTTA also organises other annual championships, e.g. Handicap Shield competition.

In the current season 2019-20 the association has four league divisions containing 40 teams from 12 clubs, comprising around 200 playing members aged from 10 to 86!

Any individual or club who would like to be involved in the association or would like further information about playing table tennis in south Oxfordshire should contact us.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, if you have any comments please do not hesitate to contact us.

Stats Appeal:
We have found copies of the player stats in our archives back to the late 80s. Unfortunately some seasons are missing. If you have copies of the magazine that published the final league tables for the seasons 1989/90, 1993/94 or 1994/95 we would really like a scan of them. Please contact the Fixture Secretary for more information.

New Player Stats:
New for the 2013/14 season! Click on highlighted names in the Player History table, from a team's stats page or from the player list under the league tables to see a table and graph of that player's playing history.

50 and 60 Yearbooks:
There are still copies of the DDTTA 50 and 60 yearbooks available. These professional publications contain the entire history of the DDTTA from its origins in 1949. If you would like to purchase a copy please contact us.
